At the coffee plantation, you will learn about the history of coffee in Costa Rica including the varieties and top quality types and the traditional ways of cultivating the grain, while in the Poas Volcano, you can appreciate the active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft.) stratovolcano and its massive crater; which is over a mile long and 1050 feet deep.
