Daily Tour
Full day
Upon reaching the summit of the Irazu Volcano National Park you will learn about the different eruptions and admire its craters to then visit Cartago City to learn amazing stories including the declaration of independence that defined most of the country’s culture as a democratic nation and the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles, home for an annual pilgrimage of faith known as Romería, a nationwide tradition.
The visit ends at Hacienda Orosi Hot Spring, a magical place surrounded by coffee plantations and the Tapanti National Park Mountains as a background. Here you will immerse yourself in the rich springs of mineral hypothermal “telluric” waters.
