Overview

Costa Rica’s geography reveals a diversity of soaring mountains, active volcanoes and hidden beaches, but one of the best kept secrets are their wild rivers draining into the Caribbean Sea or the Pacific Ocean.

One of those rivers is the Pacuare River; catalogued as the most scenic in Costa Rica and one of the top rafting rivers in the world for those who seek a wildlife encounter and unforgettable white-water experience!

You will experience the exhilaration of riding the waves on this wild and scenic river, which passes through scenic canyons where crystal-clear waterfalls plummet down into the rapidly coursing river below. The white water is equally exciting. It is not an overly challenging river, but it has several rapids, therefore, it gives you an adventure filled with lots of fun. The 18 mile in 3 hours run includes 38 rapids. Few rivers in the world can offer you so many.
