Half day
The area of the Tárcoles River’s mouth, together with the Carara National Park and the Guacalillo mangroves, creates a natural corridor for dozens species of birds, mammals and insects, considered as one of the richest sites in the entire central pacific coast.
Once on the river edge, you will aboard a very spacious, comfortable and safe boat, covered with a special roof for protection from the weather conditions and that navigates silently thought the river and mangroves.
The river is a paradise to get up-close with American crocodiles of all sizes while the Guacalillo mangrove forests provide a great habitat for four different species of mangroves: tea, black, red and white mangrove.
